WE’RE ALL ABOUT OUR KIDS
Our Story
BEGINS WITH A MOM OF 2
Creating brings kids joy, especially when they know their parents appreciate each drawing and painting. If you have children, more often than not, you’ll have stacks of artwork in every little corner of your home.
With their budding creativity and with so many little projects, it’s hard to keep up with the many colourful pieces they produce on a daily basis. While you treasure their creativity, realistically, you can’t keep everything they make. Placing their works of art in storage bags will just gather dust and will be forgotten.
“Wouldn’t it be great to have an organised system where you can preserve and keep their treasure trove while showing it off without taking up so much space?” Art4Keep founder, Sujata Sheth, thought to herself.
A mom of two beautiful girls, she understood the challenges many mothers have to face in keeping their home devoid of clutter while satisfying their loving need to display and keep their children’s art pieces.
Sujata is very sentimental about both her daughters’ creativity. It was important for her to preserve her daughter’s childhood memories.
“My kids created such beautiful pieces of art through the years, some pieces I framed, and the rest I put into storage. One day, I opened the bag and many of the pieces were yellow, dusty, or ripped. I realised I should have properly preserved it and placed them in a safe place where I can look at and appreciate it when I wanted to. I, then, created my first art book and placed it on my coffee table. When my friends came over, they all asked how I did it. From there on, Art4Keep was born.
However, I can’t display and keep them all. And so, I started curating all their arts and crafts, and preserving them in beautiful hardcover books.” Sujata says. “Instead of having piles of drawings here and there, I now have keepsake books I can gift to them when they’re older. Not only will these keepsakes mean a lot to them, but it will also be a great way for them to remember and share their childhood stories with their own families.”
Art4Keep is the only platform that’s based in Singapore where you can celebrate your kid’s art by personalising it into coffee table books. Sujata’s creative process starts with professionally photographing each artwork with great lighting and state-of-the-art equipment. It continues with thoughtful curation from cover to cover, and the seamless production of keepsake books.
